Be careful you do not dehydrate yourself.  Perhaps you can try to mix your regular coffee with decaf, it will help you lower the caffeine intake and most likely you will not have to pass all that urine.

Best wishes,

Santos

Hi everyone. No one has even posted here for almost a year and a half. Thought I would check in; maybe it will be another year and a half before anyone posts here again.

I am below my 'expected' outcome weight of 215. I am fluctuating between 190-195. But for me the weight on the scale is not the issue; for the more time out we are from surgery, the clearer our perspective becomes. The RNY was a life-changer: no diabetic medications, no high BP, no sleep apnea, etc. My quality of life has improved significantly--that is until 8 months ago. I have been having joint and muscle pain and after a host of labs, x rays, exams, etc, they attribute it to a bacterial overgrowth somewhere in my GI tract as a result of the RNY. Anti-biotics hasn't worked so here I sit looking at a possible RNY reversal as a last resort to try and become pain free. I'll let you know how it turns out. Despite the misery of the past 8 months, I'd have the surgery again. Hope everyone is blessed.
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Hi May 08 surgery folks,

I'm inviting you to a little group to help those (yes, including myself) who have gained 10 or more pounds beyond that lowest weight. We are calling it the "Drop 10 for 10 Challenge". You can easily join this group by going to www.obesityhelp.com/group/Drop10410. I'm hoping that with your help we can generate a little excitement and enthusiasm for getting back on track. We will have a monthly weighin, but it will only be pounds off since the start of the new 2010 decade. Your participation is only what you want to make it. I'm pumped up and ready to get back on track for 2010.

There are no hard and fast rules for joining, but you really should be at least 10 pounds above your lowest post-surgery weight and interested in getting things back in line.

Let's get this new decade off to a great start.

Hello all.I know it's been a long time.I'm down to 190 with about 10 more pounds to my reasonable weight. It's hard to believe being obese most of my life. My clothes are extremely big and nothing fits anymore. Only this time everything is hanging off of me. Ready for some cosmetic surgery just don't have the money to do it at this time.I was really stupid and bought designer jeans and all and they're all too big.I just wanted to check in and it will not be this long before I'm back on here.

Hey all! How is everyone doing?

Okay its almost Thanksgiving and I am doing well.

Down almost 159 lbs. Cant believe it!

Start weight 309, now I am 150.5.

Still would like to loose more, how about all of you?  I have started

to slow down a bit went from 155 to 150 in the last three months!  I am wearing a 10

of my Vits and supplements.  My goal is 149 and I am very close.

Post your goals and where you are at!  Cant wait to hear from you!

Topic: RE: Regrowing yet???
Sorry I know you posted this awhile ago but thought I'd give you my experience.  I'm 17 months out from vsg and down 100lbs started at 230 now I'm 130.  I am able to take vitamins much easier now.  I think that really helps with the hairgrowth.  I lost quite a bit but it is growing in and yes I have had some weird stages with regrowth kind of sticking up like a little kid whose hair is coming in...  My hairdresser has been super supportive as well.  I did start using the Nioxin shampoos stage 4 for the visibly thinning hair.  Also here's a real secret secret Eqyss http://www.eqyss.com/  is a horse product but really works well and lots of folks i.e humans are using it.  I'm not a Dr nor do I play one on TV so go at that with your own caution,  but antidotely( or however you spell that!) I use it and have had really good results.  Best thing I think though is vitamins and time...

It does come back in, but I don't think ever the same.  My hair is thinner and I think it always will be, but I've stopped looking at Hairclub ads and wigs and weaves lol!

I USED to have a much large bladder it seemed pre-surgery. I joke with my surgeon and ask if he "did you knick my bladder during surgery or what?"

I go quite frequently, granted I drink a lot of coffee and I know that is a diuretic but I drank a lot coffee before too. There are times I go and 15min.'s later have to go just as bad AGAIN! And sometimes I have to go very bad and can't right away. Doesn't hurt and I am certain its not an infection. Just seems unusual?
