Hi Karen,
Not sure yet, I talked with my surgeon last week and she said I can have it the day after I finish my finals if I want. Ironically the date would be May 7- also my birthday! But I am waiting to hear from scheduling so I have my fingers crossed...

I'll be having surgery May 6 in Puerto Vallarta. I've already visited the hospital and feel very comfortable with the surgery. I am having VSG. Chris...have lots in common with you! I just turned 35 on the 15th and I am also a nursing student! Will graduate July 2008. Doing the surgery between semesters. Hope to hear from y'all soon. Be well.

I just found out yesterday that my surgery will also be in May! Yay! Not sure which day yet exactly- but I have to wait until I finish classes. I am a 34 year old Nursing student hoping to graduate with my BSN in May 2011. Also a wife and mom of a wonderful little boy- :angel:
Hope to meet many new friends here with common goals...

I am Deb - a 45 year old wife and mom who happens to be a Senior Paralegal for a small law firm in Central NY.
My open RNY surgery date is May 7, 2008 at University Hospital in Syracuse, NY.
Would love to hear from folks who are also scheduled in May.
