I am a Cinco de Mayo girl too. I am so excited and can't wait. It is amazing that it is less than a month away. I can't believe you only have to do a 3 day liquid diet. I am doing a 2 week liquid diet. I scheduled everything around my friends wedding, so that is going to be my last hoorah and then I start the 2 week diet. I fly back into town and I told my parents we have to go from the airport to my favorite restaurant for my "last supper" as I am calling it. Ahh well can't wait for the journey to really begin.

Well I went in for my consultation with my wonderful surgeon today. My surgery date is tentatively May 1st, if both surgeons aren't available that date then it will be May 8th...YAY....I can't wait to get the actual date set in stone, but I will be a May "er" with all of you....yay...I'm so excited, nervous and probably feeling the same way all of you are....

Hi Karin, Congratulations on your date!!! I have my pre-op appt. with my surgeon on April 25th. I just read an article about the balloon exercize a few days ago. What procedure are you having? I have already lost 26 pounds since January and this week I am trying to replace 1 meal with the protein shake. We'll see how it goes. My doc requires a 2 week fast (no foods at all) on Medifast. My husband's birthday and my son's birthday fall within those 2 weeks ...ugh. I am having the Lap Band.
