By the looks of it I am the first one going in...anyone else going May 1st? I will keep you all posted on how I do and feel. I am a computer finatic so I'll be posting as soon as I get to a computer...

Yay for you...I'm May 1st...

Wow I can't beleive that all of us in this May group are finally almost on the loosers bench. I am excited, nervous,happy, and every other emotion wrapped up in one. It seems so sureal. I can't beleive I coasted through a very tough program that most people take at least a year to complete. I did it in 6 months. Everyone on my "team"(surgeons, nutricianists, general Dr., and phycologists) all beleive I am very ready. I thank mostly OH for me being ready. I have looked at everything on this site. I have read countless profiles on peoples journey. Their struggles and successes. I've read all of the profiles on the memorial page with coutless people who have passed due to complications. I've read pages where marriages have ended and friendships have grown apart. Even knowing all this I know I am truely ready. Because this is about ME. FOr once in my life I am not worring about friends, family, even my husband. I need to be healthy and happy for ME and MY KIDS. I wish all of you luck in your journey. I hope all of you have a speedy and good recovery. We are all on our way to being healthy active adults...YAY for us.
