Yay we're together.... We are all going to do great I can feel it....

I just received my May 1 surgery date today! I am having a revision from a VBG to a RNY. I am really lucky I got approval so fast. I have been having problems with daily vomiting for a long time, even though I still managed to regain all the weight (plus some!). I am happy for all of you....for all of us. I too have read countless profiles, looked at countless before and after photos. I have also read the memorials to keep this in perspective. I am really looking forward to a fresh start. Congrats May 7th is my 1 year surgaversery it has been an amazing year. You'll do great and time will fly its hard to belive its been a year. I made it to goal in 11 months. Thanks to the support of my may 07 family. You will be a loser soon thats and awesome feeling Good luck. Julia

My date is May 12th and I am having similar feelings--they go with the various thoughts I am having. I check out the posts, but I have made the decision to stay away from the troubling ones. Yes, complications can and may happen. I do not want to put energy into negative, worrisome places. Instead I am staying focused on the positive and the opportunities and possibilities that are before me. It is like anything else--we can be our own worse enemy--we have been--maybe today is the day we begin loving ourselves more and doing it in positive ways. As we prepare mentally and emotionally for our surgery. Blessings to you and to all who are embarking on the journey soon.
