Hey, make room on the loser's bench, I am on my way to join you! The 2 week liquid diet starts next week. There's a few other pre-op things I need to do, but for the most part I am ready. Yeehaw!

I am doing the liquid diet...not required but ok'd by the nurse...why not? It only helps...this is my second day...so far I am ok...dtermined since my weight was up...also on my monthly cycle so that contributed.. Good luck and Godspeed recovery for all of us May'sters

Where I am having my surgery they have us drink OptiFast shakes prior to surgery and provide us with TrePuree meals for the week after. We got to try all those foods at a meeting and the OptiFast's weren't bad at all...chocolate and strawberry that is, vanilla was awful!! Once when I was on Atkins I tried teh EAS I think and thought those were alright. Not sure there IS a good protein shake. Just keep trying them I guess...

My date is May 6th. I'll say a prayer for us. What brand of protein shakes have you purchased. I tried EAS AdvatEDGE carb control. Its awful. Take Care, Marie
