Topic: RE: May 9th is the big day!
That's my surgery date, too. I'm so excited I can't stand it. I start my liquid diet this Friday, April 25th. And really, the liquid diet is the only thing I am worried about. It just seems like such a long time to live on liquids. But it will be so worth it that I will do it, and gladly. Good luck to you. I will keep track of you to see how you are doing.

Hello Ladies,
I will be having my gastric bypass on May 12th here in Boston. I am nervous but getting excited about the new life ahead! Dreading the liquid diet I must say! But I guess I've eaten enough in the past to make up for my new future Does anyone else have small children? I have a 3 year old and I am a wreck about leaving him for my hospital stay and trying not to confuse, scare him during this time.
Good luck and god bless to all.

Topic: RE: Has anybody used Isospure liquid protein drinks like Grape Frost or Orange?
Hi Pamela,
I am having my surgery on May 12th so I am getting ready to start my liquid diet also. I was set to have surgery last August but i got cold feet! Anyway i went to my local health food store at that time and they were so nice and let me try a bunch of different drinks before i bought them. My doctor recommends Isopure as the best of the bunch so I did try it- it was ok- definitely tolerable but not delicious! I was able to buy a couple different brands in single bottle servings before i committed to a big order. So see if you can do something like that near you. Good luck!
