Hi Cheryl, I hope this will reach you in time. I had mine on Friday 4/18/08 and I was a little nervous. Once I got to the hospital and they told me it would truly take maybe 5 mins. I was fine. The prep time was longer than the procedure. Trust me you have nothing to worry about.

I am on the liquis diet my date is May 6th. I am going on my 3rd day, and let me tell you it has been sooooo hard, I work in a caferteria and I never use to think the food looked good, the last three days it has looked like heaven!!!! But I know that this will all be worth it in the end. So I wish all of you on your liquids Good Luck and I will keep you all in my prayers/ Angie

Revision on 04/29/08

Topic: Surgery date moved UP.....

My surgeon's office called today not to cancel my surgery, but to move it up to Tues April 29! They told me that since it is a revision, the doc would feel more comfortable monitoring me himself during the week instead of being in over the weekend when he would be away. That's fine with me...just a little surprised and unnerving I guss. I also had to ask my husband to cancel an important business trip so he could be with me...thank God that all worked out too. Anyway, although my date has changed, I think I'll still stay an honorary "Mayster" and hang out with you guys!

Lauren, Yes I felt the same thing, I am nesting. I do this before anything big, but I find I'm not being myself. I"m acting like it's after surgery in some ways also. For sure nesting, preparing for our new bodies is why. cheri

My surgery is May 6 and I started my 2 wk. diet on Tuesday, not Monday. I figure you are NPO the day before the surgery, so I'm not gonna be on liquids any more than I have to! I wouldn't reschedule my surgery at all. a side note.....I hate the liquid diet!!! I'm starving!!!! Help!!!!! I need some encouragement! Karin
