Your little guy under the chair is adorable. Wow, tomorrow I'm sure you will do great. The lap band is something i know little about. You wont be in the hospital over night will you? if not and you feel like it let us know how it goes for you, OK? I did not have to do the Optifast or any other pre-op diet for some reason. How about the rest of you here? I am having the open RNY maybe that is the difference. The doctor just said nothing after midnight the night before surgery. Well there is one of my medicines i had to stop taking 7 days before my surgery date. I will be sure to add you to my prayers tonight! Debra

Those pre-op test went at a fast clip for me until i was to meet the nutritionist she was with others and i had to wait a what seemed like a very long time. Please be sure to check back in after your surgery and we can all compare notes. lol Debra

Yes it is getting here fast. I went shopping for some of the things i will need for the first time today. That made it seem more of a reality. Good luck to you and all our new Friends here. I really am thankful to meet you all. I believe it will make this experience less of a lonely ordeal. I don't know the time of my surgery yet i am suppose to call their office tomorrow between 2-4 p.m. to find out the exact time. I am on central time. What time is your surgery? I will keep you and the others we meet here in my prayers even more so on our surgery date. Thank you, Debra

I broke my foot before my surgery and the date was pushed back 3 weeks. It was on pushed back because I was not allowed to put any weight on my foot. As long as you are allowed to bear weight you should be fine. I am sure that it will be a little more tuff on you. You will have to be up and walking the day of surgery. I was required to walk so many laps before leaving the hospital.

Welcome to OH.com. This is such a wonderful place. It has been such a godsend to me. I have less than 24 hours to go and feel sick to my stomach. How are you doing on the Optifast? I can not believe how quickly these two weeks have gone by.
I would love to keep in touch and shrink together. lol
I will say a prayer for all of us. Good luck May 5th.
