Wow, May 6th is coming fast. I'm both excited and nervous. I will spend this weekend making sure I have everything I need for after the surgery. Is there anyone else having surgery on May 6th? Let's talk.

I am approved from Ohip and have my consultation with Dr. Andre Nunn on Friday. When should I expect my surgery?

Oh, good gosh. I should be so lucky that I accidentaly got out of an entire week of this diet but I'M DYING!!! I'm not so much hungry physically anymore but mentally I am freaking out!!!!! I WANT A CHEESEBURGER!!! I wonder how or when this brain hunger goes away!?! I can't imagine how after next Tuesday I won't even BE hungry? Oh, joy. But I still wonder if I will want to eat everything in sight? I think I'm sad, gee its sad that I'm sad, that I never got my "last supper" b/c I was sick over the weekend and barely ate at all...then went straight into this liquid diet. darn.

Hey Debra, Good to hear back from you. I agree that this is great place to be...and a wealth of information. Lucky you not having to have a pre-op liquid diet. I had to do a two week liquid myself. Hope you enjoy your weekend as you prepare for surgery. Weather here has been great....I'm hoping to be outdoors as much as possible. Rhonda is my first name. Dianna & Kelly, Thank you. You will be amazed how quickly this process goes. Once you are past the surgery, your efforts will TOTALLY shift from being nervous to getting determined to drop that weight. Rest assured that what you are feeling now will be only a distant memory in just a year. You will wake up like me every morning and wonder what kind of dream you are in and wondering when it is going to end. Then you realize that this dream and the ability to keep it off really does rest in your hands. It is not always easy, but it will be a managable monster that you will have the ability to keep under control. Best wishes to all of you Maysters of 08.
