I'm here...Onderland...finally!!!

OMG I have finally made it to ONDERLAND!!!! I've been on a slow 2# weight loss each week for over a month and this week I finally dedicated myself to walking/jogging at least 3x a week. Of course I had to get sick right after I started so I only got in 2 workouts before I weighed in but I lost SIX POUNDS!!!!! YES! So that finally put me into Onderland which I've been lingering near and waiting patiently to float into for weeks! How are the rest of you May 5th'ers doing???

Congratulations!!!! I know the exercise thing is the hardest part for most of us (after all, we're all here post surgery because we couldn't do it before hand) and it's great to hear you're having real results with your attempt!! I'm waiting on my wii and wii fit to arrive and then I'm sure i'll find that exercise bug i never had - i'd better for $500 or so! Good luck on your continued success!

What is Onderland? My surgery was May 14th and I have lost about 64 pounds so far. I haven't been able to get all my protein in yet(still makes me sick) so my nutritionist won't allow me to do aerobics I can only walk and swim.So I am limited on exericse until I can get at least 60 to 80 grams of protein in. Other than that I am doing good I have gone from a tight 24 to a very loose 18 and tight 16 which I love getting back into clothes I haven't been able to wear since before the kids.I am eating a lot of fish,eggs,cheese,black beans,tuna,thats all and only a couple of bites here and there.Well I would love to know if I am in Onderland or not,but thats how I am doing. Tammy, sounds like you are doing pretty good for yourself if you are in a tight 16!!! Onderland is being below 200#. 100-something pounds. If you aren't there yet, you will be SOON! My nutrtionist never mentioned anything about not execising much b/c of lack of protein in a day. I too am barely getting 60-80g of protein in a day. I'm lucky most days if I get 50g!! Maybe that is why I got so loopy after walking/jogging last Monday. Hmmmmmm...I stopped the jogging and starting just walking fast enough to raise my heart rate, works much better for my head afterwards. Keep up the good work!!

CONGRATS!!!!!!!! Ain't it GREAT??? I am stalled at 192 now but am so dizzy I am afraid to get out and walk like I need to. Best wishes on continued success

You need to eat more "real" proteins...I found it helps if I eat some protein just before I exercise (this is when I actually do exercise mind you ) and drink LOTS of water during and after especially!!

The stalls will happen as we are losing weight so fast our bodies need that occasionally week or two to play catch up. I've had a few of them and just kept doing what I was doing and I popped out of them losing another 6-7#.
