Surgery was May 14th need help with meds
I think I have everything down with the fluids and shakes(protein). I need to start my biotin and calcium and have tried crushing them and putting them in sugarfree pudding but it was too upseting to my pouch. What else can I do?Any suggestions?
Thank you,
Tammy
PS. I am chewing 4 flinstone with iron vitamins a day.. not bad
I take several pills a night. My husband pulverizes them with a mortar and pestle and I mix them in a tiny med cup with a couple teaspoons of water, drink that down, add some more water stip it up and swallow again. One of my pills, lexapro was so disgusting that I had my psychiatrist give me a prescription for the liquid form.
BTW, we share surgery dates!!

I had my surgery on May 5th and I have not had a probelm with any of my pills. Most of them are small but my Glucophage is pretty large and I just break it into 2 pieces and down it goes. The only one I have to open is my actigal, whcih tastes like hell, but I do it then eat my vitamins to get the taste out of my mouth. I take Lexapro too and it is small.
My surgery was the 19th, My husband crushes my med and I mix with the sf pudding and take a bite and then a sip of water. I have a thing with liquids and throw them up so I have to crush everything. They have me on 4 tubs ex a day for my calcium right now but i did buy calcium chewable tabs and they didn't taste bad.
