11 days post op

Finally the mystery of the searing unmanageable pain is solved. I ended up back in the ER with the pain. After a CT Scan that showed nothing amiss and tons of blood work showing the same -- 20 hrs later they removed my staples I was discharged and told to take the pain meds and basically "suck it up". Several hours after I was home my dear husband came in to change my dressing on the biggest punch wound and when he pulled back the bandage we discovered a stitch hanging out of the incision and tons of discharge pouring from the wound. It has been draining continuously for 4 days now and I feel much better. The pain has diminished and I am up and about and able to function once again! Since my trip to the hospital cancelled my appointment at the office I still haven't weighed in. I have no idea how much weight I have lost since the surgery on May 6. I'll weigh in at my next appt on Wednesday afternoon. I can hardly wait to see the numbers roll back!!!!! Thanks to everyone who wrote me and supported me! Connie

I.m glad to hear that you are doing well now, I go in on monday, for my surgery, If I were you I would make a special trip to the Dr. just to weigh, They probably would not mind. Good luck on reaching your goal!!!!
