Hello Dona, I too am nervous, my surgery is the 19th of this month.I have been riding an emotional rollercoaster, I have had the nervousness, fear, questioned myself as to why I'm doing this and do I really want to do this? My friend was leaving to go on vacation the other day and said"You know I will never see you looking like this again."Needless to say that was a very powerful statement, I was a mess! but I got on here and posted my delima and I had some great responses, I know now that everyone goes thru these feelings.Dona know that you are not alone, if you need to talk we will be here for you, I will keep you in my prayers.Good Luck on your surgery tomorrow.Everthing will be ok.

I felt the exact same way. My surgery was wednesday and I came home today! As soon as my head cleared, my first thought was What DID I DO? I saw the panic on my son's face when he saw me that first night but 24 hours makes a world of difference and the next day he said, surprisingly, "you look great,Mom". I had a bit of trouble but my doubts passed with the first step on the scale today and my reminding myself of the goals I want to achieve... I wish you all the best. Please let me know how you do! I am rooting for you

You are so brave to do this. I know you must be so scared. As long as you are doing it for the right reasons, you will be fine. I have my wls June 2nd and it is such a roller coaster. I still have 3 weeks left and can't imagine how I will feel the night before. I will be saying an extra prayer for you tonight. Good luck and God Bless

Go for it all guts, all glory!!! You will do great and you have a hubby to support you in all of it. You know deep down you are doing this for a reason and you will come out feeling those "oh, crap what did I do" feelings but after a few weeks and we all start seeing this weight melt off those thoughts will quickly go away! I think if anything I am scared of the unknown. Not knowing how it would feel, not knowing if I would ever be able to eat (instead of just drink) food again (but you will), not knowing what it will be like to be a size 10 instead of a 22??? Just stay focused and for me doing whatever I needed to do to NOT think about surgery was best. Congrats and the bestest of wishes for your big day tomorrow!!!
