Hi Maysters, Well I came home yesterday and I am doing great. Everything went very smoothly. the only complaints I have a a very sore back I think from sleeping in that awful hospital bed, and how totally unrestful being in the hospital was. Home is 1000% better. Not hungry, started stage 3 today yummy instant breakfast today. Now I start to see if I can get in all my fluids. Monday after the surgey I spent some time in "what the hell did I do" land but that has passed I am feeling pretty well for a 55 year old! you youngsters should do fine. Cheryl

Very glad you are home, that things went well and that you are recovering nicely I just arrived home today myself and aside from the tremendous gas pain I have no complaints.

Tracy, are you taking gas-x chewable tabs? they work for me and walking helps a lot when does it go away? no problem with cool and yesterday tried warm and it was fine. Never thought strained cream of chicken soup would taste like a gourmet meal!! Cheryl

Hi Frank, I don't really think I'm old just that here on the boards mostly everyone is 20s and 30s. I am doing really well no problems eating feeling better every day and I do believe that I am going in to work on Monday. Sitting at my desk will probably be easier on me than trying to do stuff at home that I shouldn't! With 4 year olds I'm sure your home life is a heck of a lot more hectic than mine. my "babies" are 25 and 21. Good luck, I'm sure you'll be fine a lot of doing well is in your head you can do it! "old" Cheryl
