My date is May 12th

Wow.... I have date and its May 12th. My request for surgery was sent in 2 weeks ago and it was approved on April 29th. I am looking for others with the same date, close date or just someone else who needs a buddy. Carol

Congratulations !! Geeez wasn't that really fast to be approved i hope to have the same luck . I am new also & afence sitter for now ..... I have too many questions to mention for Lap band . Take care

Congrats Carol!!!!!!! My surgery is May 7th so we're pretty close in dates. I wouldn't mind answering any question you may have post operatively after my surgery. Welcome to the board and congratulations on making this decision you'll do wonderful! Here's to a happy and healthy new birthday for you!! Lots of love!

Thanks so much. I am excited and nervous. I had heard our insurance was pretty quick to approve WLS. I think its mostly because my husband works for the hospital.

Hi Carol, mine is also May 12th. I CAN'T WAIT!!!! Are you excited or nervous? I'm excited. The nerves haven't kicked in yet. I'm more nervous about getting my house up to snuff before I leave than anything else. How long did your doc. say you were going to be in the hospital? Do you know what time yours is yet? I have to call on Friday to get a time. Debbi

I have my pre op and nutrition stuff on the 9th. I will find out then. Hopefully its early. I should get out on Wed.

Mine is on the 12th too!!! (If all goes well with my heart scan results) It is so nice to know that others are going to be with me. This website is great. My thoughts are with everyone. Let's do this!!!! Sharon
