Anyone having surgery @ Barix in Ypsilanti, MI?

I am approved from Ohip and have my consultation with Dr. Andre Nunn on Friday. When should I expect my surgery?

I'm not sure about this system. But when I went through the process I had to go through the initial consultation w/ my Dr at a big briefing with perspective patients. I then broke off from the group and had to go thru CAT scans, U/sounds, Blood work, Psych Eval and Nutrition class (3 of them actually to set up my after surgery meal plan) Do you know if they require this? If you've finished all that then I think its safe to suspect that it shouldn't be too far away unless their booked or your surgeon is going on vacation. Dr Nunn is very nice he did my surgery in Detriot

I had my surgery there yesterday. By Dr Schram. They are all wonderful. The nurses and staff were all very friendly and caring--and had great senses of humor. I had my first consultation in January. Then I had to get my doctors letter and approval and psycological consult. But it sounds as if you have already gotten your approval so yours may be faster. I think they are usually booked out about 6 weeks though. Good luck.
