Hey there, Debra.....my surgery is also May 5, 2008. I am sick of this two week liquid diet, and am trying to find some calcium citrate citracal creamy bites, but can't. I am scared, but getting less nervous as the closer I get. Good luck to you, and I will say a prayer for you on Monday, I would appreciate it if you would do the same. Keep in touch, and let me know how things are going.

Hi Pamela, Yes it is getting here fast. I went shopping for some of the things i will need for the first time today. That made it seem more of a reality. Good luck to you and all our new Friends here. I really am thankful to meet you all. I believe it will make this experience less of a lonely ordeal. I don't know the time of my surgery yet i am suppose to call their office tomorrow between 2-4 p.m. to find out the exact time. I am on central time. What time is your surgery? I will keep you and the others we meet here in my prayers even more so on our surgery date. Thank you, Debra

Hi Debra - My surgery is May 5th also. I am having lap band procedure done. I had my series of post op appointments done today. I was in appointments for 8 hours today. Time is getting closer but I am suprisingly not nervous. Good luck to everyone with an upcoming surgery date. Heather

Hi there Heather, Those pre-op test went at a fast clip for me until i was to meet the nutritionist she was with others and i had to wait a what seemed like a very long time. Please be sure to check back in after your surgery and we can all compare notes. lol Debra

Hi Debra My wls is tomorrow!!! Welcome to OH.com. This is such a wonderful place. It has been such a godsend to me. I have less than 24 hours to go and feel sick to my stomach. How are you doing on the Optifast? I can not believe how quickly these two weeks have gone by. I would love to keep in touch and shrink together. lol I will say a prayer for all of us. Hey Dianna, Your little guy under the chair is adorable. Wow, tomorrow I'm sure you will do great. The lap band is something i know little about. You wont be in the hospital over night will you? if not and you feel like it let us know how it goes for you, OK? I did not have to do the Optifast or any other pre-op diet for some reason. How about the rest of you here? I am having the open RNY maybe that is the difference. The doctor just said nothing after midnight the night before surgery. Well there is one of my medicines i had to stop taking 7 days before my surgery date. I will be sure to add you to my prayers tonight! Debra
