Anyone else have a May 6th surgery date? looking for a buddy

I have my rny planned for May 6th and was wondering who else here does have one set for the same day. I am soo excited and can't wait.

Hey Lisa!!! Welcome to the May Club! I too have a May 6th date. How excited are WE!!! However, I'm starting to freak out just a tish...not about having surgery but about afterwards...life, eating, etc.

I hear ya. this is takeing up allllll my mental time and this is all I want to think about and do. I know I have to do and want to, but man I am going go crazy waiting

I got my date today it's may 6th also.... I can hardly wait. Laurie

I am being sleeved on the 6th in Baltimore. There are several of us who share the same surgery date. And I'm sure we will all share the same questions and anxiety as the date approaches. Just have faith in God, your surgeon and yourself and all will be good. Good luck. Deb

I am not having RNY but am having VSG on May 5 so I wanted to let you know that I will be sending positive thoughts to your surgeon on the 6th. Anxious and scared is normal so take something with you that comforts you. I am 41 and will be taking my butterfly pillow to hug when it is over.
