I am Deb - a 45 year old wife and mom who happens to be a Senior Paralegal for a small law firm in Central NY. My open RNY surgery date is May 7, 2008 at University Hospital in Syracuse, NY. Would love to hear from folks who are also scheduled in May. Deb

Hi Deb! I just found out yesterday that my surgery will also be in May! Yay! Not sure which day yet exactly- but I have to wait until I finish classes. I am a 34 year old Nursing student hoping to graduate with my BSN in May 2011. Also a wife and mom of a wonderful little boy- :angel: Hope to meet many new friends here with common goals... Chris

Chris and Deb... I'll be having surgery May 6 in Puerto Vallarta. I've already visited the hospital and feel very comfortable with the surgery. I am having VSG. Chris...have lots in common with you! I just turned 35 on the 15th and I am also a nursing student! Will graduate July 2008. Doing the surgery between semesters. Hope to hear from y'all soon. Be well. Karin

Hi there! My name is Cheryl, I am scheduled for Lap RNY on May 5th in New Haven, CT I started this Journey in July of 2006. I can hardly beleive I am finally here! I actually could have had surgery in March or April but I am a tax preparer and am currently chained to my desk!

Hi I am in Texas and will be having VSG surgery on Cinco de Mayo in Bryan/COllege Station...Home of the Aggies...but my doc is NOT an Aggie (if anyone knows the jokes). Love to keep up with other May surgery people. Best to all of you Tracy
