Topic: I'm Still Here! Nearing my goal!
Hello All May 2007 losers! I am still on the losing side. I am about 10lbs off my goal and as far as feeling good I feel GREAT! I have had some struggles and fallen on my face...but I am going strong! I really appreciate all the support I have gotten here and hope to see MI people at the Detroit Obesity Help meet May 31st! Haven't lost anything in a couple weeks, but have managed to stay the same, though.

Hi Holly,
You are doing so great and look so beautiful. It amazing how time flys. Just think, it has already been a year, I am still in dreamville. So glad I had this surgery, it truly has changed my life. I have more energy then I ever had before. I even played basketball with my granddaughter the other day.
Keep it up and you will be at goal in no time.

This year has really flown by. I can't believe I am this thin. I have to keep pinching myself to believe it. I am almost afraid to say it because I don't want to jinx myself.
It feel go good to buy clothes in regular stores and I am finding that I still pick larger sizes and then go try them on and they hang on me and I have to keep getting smaller and smaller sizes.
How are you doing with your new business. Hope it is going great for you.

Had my 1 year appointment on Friday and all went very well....Need to boost my fluids and add another form of excerise!!!! But about 13 pounds to the Dr. goal.....and all most to the Century mark!!!!

Happy Belated Birthday Esther!!! Happy belated surgiversary too!!! Gee, I remember a few months ago this wonderful lady being so stressed that she wouldn't get under 200 pounds. Now look at you you skinny thing!!! I'm so happy for you!!!!

I thought I would start the Sunday weigh-in. I am losing slowly but that's okay because I am under goal. Here are my Stats! Yesterday was my birthday and I had my surgery May 7th one year ago and I would do it again. What a great birthday present.
Before surgery: 279.5
Last weigh-in: 160
This week: 159.5
This weeks loss: .5 pounds
Total loss: 120 pounds

Topic: It's My Surgiversary
I was banded one year ago today. I started at 289 and weigh 215. I went from a 26 to an 18. My band has literally saved my life. Happy surgiversary to my fellow May patients. Wishing you all the best as we continue our journies.
