I went through some depression but after my doctor's visit and hearing how proud he was of my progress, I am feeling pretty good now. I have lost a total of 72 pounds and only a few pounds away from Onederland. I can't wait for that moment. Hugs, Esther

I hate to be another party pooper but I've been crappy lately too! I've reached Onderland and it made me so happy, and now that I'm so close to my personal goal, I'm finding myself reverting back to some old habits. My apetite has returned big time and I feel hungry within 1-2hrs of eating. And I'm not making the best of choices either. I've been pushing my boundaries lately and I find I can tolerate things now which I couldn't a month or 2 ago (ex. bread, certain quantities of sugar). I guess I'm just uninspired and I can't find new foods to keep me motivated. Another big issue is exercise, I just haven't found the right gym yet and the treadmill in the basement is gathering dust. Argh. My losses have also slowed down and I expected that to happen eventually, but I'm just afraid that my body is done losing weight and this is the lowest I'll ever be. Those are my issues for the time being, along with the everyday stuff. I've spoken to my doctor about this and she gave me the name of a psychiatrist who deals with eating disorders, which I think would help a lot with the problems I'm having. If I can get the food problems out of the way, I think the guilt I've been feeling will fall away too.

Not a lot of WOW moments for me lately either! GRrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!! This is the 2nd stall I've had since surgery...but it seems my stalls last FOREVER. I know I can't lose too rapidly forever---but dang! I think I've only lost like 8 lbs in the last 3 1/2 WEEKS. OMG. I was losing like 5 lbs a week. I've been exercising and everything. Maybe need to up the protein and water.......I don't know. I can't take it anymore!!! I want to get to my personal first big goal of 100 lbs down by October 24th--but at this rate, I'm getting very discouraged =*(

Ok, board has been a little quiet.... what is new with everyone? I know for me I have so much energy (now that I have goten over my kidney stones etc) that I am not able to sit still at the computer much LOL. Had a little wow moment.....someone gave me some scrubs that I coudl nto get up past me thighs as they were a plain xl. So I tried them on jsut to see as the 2x's i was wearing seemed baggy.....and they fit! Gone from a 4x to just plain old XL in 3 1/2 months. so share...what is your latest wow moment!!!!!! Donna

Topic: RE: Protein Shakes - Help
well for me personally i use zero carb isopure whey protein isolate....my doctor told me to add 2 1/2 scoops to 12 oz of water (i use milk) and that alone is like 65grams of protein! i don't want to drink anymore of these damn shakes than i have to...lol i'll tell you it will cure whatever ails you...i'm going to stay on it for the rest of my life...also another trick is to have it later at night to curb night eating....hope this helped... lizzie
