Yes, this is the May 2007 board, but we don't discriminate here Congrats on your successes! The stalls come and go. I am almost 13 mos. out now and have been stuck with a non moving scale since beginning of May. Then this a.m. BAM dropped a couple pounds again. Isn't it an amazing journey? Keep up the good work, John and visit us again. ~April

I guess I posted on the wrong board. I realized this is for people that just had their one year anniversary. I had my surgery in May 08. Sorry.

John congrats to your loss the stalls come and go. I love that your wife can reach and snuggle all the way around you. I love that when my hubby can reach all the way around and touch his elbows. I feel so much smaller when my girls hug on me to what a great feeling. Keep up the great work. Hugs Toni

How is everyone doing? I goofed and posted this with a surgery date in April by accident. Reasons to be grateful: I am down 25 pounds since surgery, and 48 pounds since February. Off all (5 diabetic medications), off blood pressure medication, down to 40 waist from a 44. Can wear XL shirts instead of XXL. No more snoring! Sleeping through the night without getting up to use the bathroom. My wife can reach around and hug ALL of me.http://images.obesityhelp.com/mbgraphics/emoticons/tongue.gif Negatives: occasional nausea, can't gulp down my cold iced tea any more, am at a plateau (or stall) for the past two weeks. How is everyone else doing?

Way to go Christine!!! I'm so happy for her. Thank goodness all went smoothly and she's already doing those laps. That's always a great sign. Hope she took lots of "before" pics. As you know yourself, she won't recognize herself in just a few weeks. Welcome to the Loser's Bench Christine!!!!! * Cyndi *

Cyndi, Thanks for the nice wishes for Christine. I'm sorry that things are not well in the "balanced chores" department....MEN...can't live with them, can't live....with them. I feel that I'm pulling my weight (not as much literally anymore) around here. In fact, I seem to have so much energy that I feel like I'm working my tail off. Hope all gets moving in the right direction for you. Have a good week. John
