Topic: Emotional Eating, Whats up?
Arg I have been reading the last weeks weight in and everyone looks like they are dealing with emotional eating. So I was wondering if you guys had any ideas we can toss around to deal with it? I did emotional eat last week and I knew I was doing it but I didn't know how to stop. I did try and take it in stride and not really over do it. I know people say, go out and exercise but that just doesn't always work. So tell me what your doing to help combat your eating?
One of the things I did was drink flavored water and stay away from the house. (that doesn't always work because then you have the temptation of eating out LOL)

Size 12! Man oh man! You go, Woman! The shoe thing is hillarious. I never knew I had fat feet. Something else I've noticed is I think I'm shorter too. My jeans are long and I buy a petite length.

Amazing, just amazing! You look wonderful. Must feel wonderful too, huh? It's harder and harder to recognize us by photos. Have to check the ID twice sometimes to make sure it's one of us...LOL

Horrible week for me....way to much emotional eating. But starting fresh and moving on.....something it looks like a lot of us are dealing with!!!

Thank you so much Kathy. I am very blessed in so many ways.
I forgot to mention a wow moment that happened yesterday. We were at a church function and I was waiting in line (for food of all things) and ahead of me there was a dad of one of the boys I taught last year. He turned around in my direction and then turned back around without saying a thing. Thinking that I may have done something to offend him I said, "Hi Frank". He turned back around and extended his hand (head tilted slightly) and said, "I'm sorry, who are you?". I replied, "Mr. Wurm". To which he said in a long drawn out word.....NOOOOOOOOOO. We had a good laugh.
When I'm at those functions, I feel like I'm walking around in some kind of costume at times. I just still don't get it that there are actually people who do not know me anymore. It really is a bit too freaky at times.

Hi Gang,
I was scared to weigh in this morning because I was really bad this weekend. I ate an ice cream cone, a rice crispie treat and even some M&M's and didn't get sick which really ****** me off. I thought we would get sick if we eat too much sugar. I was so worried that I took Ducolac (Laxative). I lucked out but the guilt almost killed me so I won't do it again. Here are my stats:
Before surgery: 279.5
Last week: 194
This week: 192
This weeks loss: 2 pounds
Total weight loss: 87.5
I am starting fresh today.
