Topic: RE: OMG! HOW MUCH LONGER WILL THIS LAST?
Hey Chris- My advice is trite but stay the course. Eat right, exercise , drink your water, take your vitamins. You are probably losing inches...have you checked? It's not unusual to have a plateau last that long. You are not alone. Your body probably remembers this weight as a set point. If you are doing what you are supposed to be doing you will lose weight. You can try that Plateau diet that was posted recently. Patti

Hi Chantal, Definitely see your doctor to rule out anything serious. I have been having similar things happen but usually it's when I stand up, bend over or have been standing for a long time. My doctor says it's because of my low blood pressure now. He had a fancy name for it that I can't remember at work. Doctor said it was because I had been losing the weight so fast and that eventually it should go away. Just one of those things to adjust to like getting cold now. I hope yours is not serious. Patti

Topic: RE: Emotional Eating, Whats up?
Ah yes. The emotional eating thing. Mark was really ticking me off this past week. Thankfully I was grabbing popsicles instead of the Halloween candy. I got a little low on my liquids so I make sure a water bottle is with me at all times. I get so bored at night after Britt goes to bed. That's my huge problem. So, I took up cross-stitch again. My best friend has been a HUGE support post-op and I found a gorgeous Mary Engelbreit pattern I'm making into pillows for her. I've also been decluttering my home office so dad and I can start the remodel job. That's been helping me stay away from the junk food too. I finally got the scale to move and I'd LOVE to hit -100 before I see my surgeon. I'm getting closer to it. For me, I just gotta keep my eye on the prize! It's too close for me to screw up now! Good luck gang! * Cyndi *

Topic: RE: Dressing up for Halloween?
I LOVE HALLOWEEN! My costume finally came in! I'm a homeroom mom at school but the kiddies can't celebrate Halloween. We have to celebrate "Fall Festival". So stupid. So, as soon as I finish at school I'm coming home and getting my costume on! Mine is a Regal Vampiress. It's my first "standard" size costume in about 20 years. It's BEAUTIFUL! I'll get Mark to take my picture tomorrow and I'll post it along with pics of our haunted front yard. I'm so excited! I can't wait for tomorrow!!! And, I've been a good girl and haven't touched one piece of candy in the oversized cauldron. That reminds me. I gotta get dry ice! * Cyndi *

Topic: OMG! HOW MUCH LONGER WILL THIS LAST?
Ok, so I don't post much but I read your success stories everyday. I have Lap RNY May 21, 2007 and to day have lost 55 lbs. I have 70 more to go and have been stuck and the exact same numbers for 3 weeks. 206.4! the exact same number! How Much longer do I hve to look and that number. I wake up in the morning jump on the scale and I already know what it is going to say with out even looking down. I have really been working on what i am taking in. I have increase my protein, and H2O. I am truely trying to fit in some sort of moving everyday. I am a VERY busy lady. I just want so bad to be under 200lbs and the past 3 weeks have been such a tease. Can someone help to motivate me or tell me something to help change these stinkin numbers. Thanks, ~Chris Tapia~
