I went to Gap during my break today to look for jeans since my last pair of normal looking jeans nearly fell off me this morning as I ran to catch the subway. I walked in and picked up the usual 14s and headed to the dressing room. I had picked up 2 or 3 styles, they just weren't fitting right and I was getting frusterated. After a second trip to the dressing room the saleswoman looked at me weird and said "Why do you keep trying on size 14 pants, you aren't a 14" and it took me a little off-guard and then she continued and said that I should be trying on size 8 pants. My jaw fell to the floor and to be honest, I thought she was nuts. She took me all around the store and we went and picked out different styles. I insisted I was at least a 12 if not a 14...but she told me to be quiet and wait in the dressing room Tough love bit much? I waited and she brought me the 8s, and they were too tight. She then brought me some 10s and they freaking fit! A bit tight around the waist, but at least I'll be able to wear them for a couple of months. She even gave me her staff discount (50%) off...so I got them for $35! I'm tempted to frame the tag "Size 10R". And strangely enough, I also bought leather gloves last night in a size small. I could never buy leather gloves because the size 8 gloves were always too small, last night I got a 6!

The people on here are very supportive and very helpful...Any questions anytime..Just ask, I promise there will be someone on here who has gone through whatever you are questioning...Without my friends from here I wouldnt have made it...BJ
