I have a VERY sensitive stomach. I have been known to have to go back to liquids now and then for a week or two at a time. I now take Pepcid twice a day and that has made all the difference. I have been to the er a few times for abd pain. this last time was chest pain which ended up being my sensitive pouch!!! Good luck to you! Donna

Amy, I am sorry you are in pain. I suffered w/ severe nausea daily for over a month. My surgeon and my pcp didn't do anything for me. They each kinda blamed the other and I paid the price!! Finally at my 4 mos. WLS check up, the doctor's assitant helped me by prescribing Prilosec OTC 1 tab daily. I have been a-okay ever since. Is Dr. Krause your surgeon or your reg. doctor? Which ever he is, follow up with the other one. Be assertive and advocate for yourself with both docs. Maybe it is just a sensitive stomach, but surely they can offer something to you for relief.

My god daughter is 9. She's a very literal person and doesn't take teasing very well. Like, one time at dinner she asked for some "port-a-john" (parmesan) cheese for her spaghetti! Everyone about died laughing, but she burst out in tears. The following is another hillarious Carly moment that her mom IM'd to me last night: Carly, "Mom, can I have 1 piece of computer paper?" Mom, "What for, Carly?" Carly, " I'm gonna write a short 3 page story for school." Mom, (laughing hysterically), "On 1 sheet of paper?" Carly, "Oh yeah, I might need 2" Mom to me: lol and people wonder why I am the way I am lol,,,gotta love her,,,she did finally realize that she needed 3 pieces of paper to write a 3 page story lol
