Well first of all 65 ponds is good. Think like someone told me when have you ever lost 65 pounds in 5 or so months not to mention the sizes that you have lost. I am sure things will speed up eventually for us. It seems like the weight is coming off slower for most of us..We just need to eat right, drink more, and move more....

Hi Donya,
Welcome to the greatest board ever. Everyone here are like family. You are doing so great. My susrgery was May 7th and I am now at 186 which is heaven for me. I was so thrilled because I got my Prom Dress on yesterday and it was too big. I am amazed how wonderful this surgery is.
Hope to see more of you on this board.
Hugs,
Esther

Total weight loss: 81.8lbs.

I have been keeping a written Journal but I think I am going to try FitDay as I know there are a few here that use that. I have to do something to speed things up a bit. I have been on a little stall!

Welcome to the May Board Donya!
I am Donna, and had Surgery on May 29th! I was 318lbs on Surgery Day and was 237lbs Sunday. So 81lbs.....89 in all.....i'll take it!!! I was hoping to be closer to 100lbs gone by my 6 month visit but since that is next week....does nto look like that will happen. I am happy with the progress that I have made and the slower progress seems to be helping in the skin dept! So I am not complaining.....I am currently smaller than I have been in almost 10 years......so I am happy with that!!!
So jump right in! We have a great group of Mayers here!!!

John I am cold all the time too!!! What a switch! I now were a jacket at work at all times (scrub jacket) and before jsut the short sleeve scrub top was way too hot at times. I have blankets that I snuggle with on the sofa when watching tv and I added another blanket to my side of hte bed
You are doing awesome!!!!!

Topic: RE: Sunday Weigh In
Hi all,
I'm always around the last to weigh in since I do that for the week on Mondays. I had a pretty good week, but could have done better. It does keep going in the right direction so I'm pretty happy overall. I went to some second hand stores and found some REALLY cool sweaters for school. I now have a collection of 8-9 of them for under $20. In the old days I couldn't buy a pant leg for that much....LOL. I used to sweat everywhere I went; now I freeze my tail off. So there you have my new clothing plan...sweaters, sweaters, sweaters.
Highest: 347
Surgery: 300
Last week: 222
This week: 220
Total this week: 2
Total lost: 127
Wishing all of you a great week too.
John

Welcome back! My surgeon gave me a food/exercise journal right before surgery. I was faithful to it until my Daytimer became my best friend. lol My Daytimer is always with me so I switched. I write everything on my Daytimer page including what kind of exercise I did. I have a spreadsheet for my body measurements.
