Give them time. Everyone will get used to your new body as much as you have had to get used to it.

I am told that I look gaunt because my face is so thin. I have also been told that I look sick but I feel good and I can walk like I never could before. I think people are sometimes jealous of our success. As long as we feel good and our blood tests are good, we are fine. Keep up the good work and just smile and tell everyone you feel good. I have lots of hanging skin too but who cares. Hugs, Esther

Courtney, I'm so sorry to hear you need another surgery. I do hope it makes you feel better! One good thing is that thanksgiving is not as much fun as it used to be now that we don't stuff our faces as much lol. I could really care less about it except for going shopping the day after thanksgiving lol...i love sales what can i say! keep us posted and know i'll be thinking about you on Monday! Hugs, Rebecca

First, congratulations on those 114 lbs Courtney! You're doing fabulous! I'm so sorry about the gallbladder thing. I had mine out in 1989 so I didn't have to deal with it and the WLS. Now I know why my surgeon takes the darned thing out during the WLS if you have it. So darned many people have to turn right around and get it out. My surgeon told me if you still have it going in, you won't have it coming out. I'll keep you in my thoughts. It does really suck to have it out right before Thanksgiving.
