So I am officially just plain old OVERWEIGHT! 
I've been nervous to post about it in fear that the scale would jump around a little, but after today I think I can safely say that I am offically never going to be obese again! I hate that word! Bleh.
YEAH! I love this surgery and what it has done for my life. I can't even imagine going back. I am so thankful for the tool I have been given and for all of you guys on the boards who endlessly support me.

Hi Everyone 
I am doing really well. Life is good for me these days. In the last week, I've finally left behind the title of being OBESE. I didn't want to post it until I was really sure it wasn't just a fluke, but now I'm sure! That word- obese- has followed me around for so long and I am SO glad to finally be rid of that. I never imagined I would be in this place- almost 100lbs lighter than this time last year. It's going to be a good Thanksgiving for me. I'm not too worried about Holiday eating. I know what I need to be doing. Just need to stay on track! I'm about 28 pounds away from goal so I just need to keep my eye on the prize.
I've been seeing someone lately and I'm very much in like with him so far. 
Just like you guys all said- one day my WLS just kind of came up in conversation and hasn't really been talked about since then. I guess I was just very paranoid about being judged for my decision. But it turned out fine. It's still in the early stages, but I'm hoping things work out with him.
Other than that- I'm just working and hitting the gym and enjoying my life. I hope you guys all have a wonderful holiday!!

I'm so excited I'm bouncing off the walls! I'm now down 100.2 lbs! My scale FINALLY moved!!! I bought size 12 jeans at Fashion Bug last night. Even the associates were excited for me.
Here's a funny wow! The big manager at our local Cracker Barrel knows us by name. We go every day for lunch and sometimes for dinner. He picked up our tab last night. We were shopping and he struck up a long conversation with us. I told him their grilled chicken is the best food here for me. I mentioned the RNY. He said "how's it going for ya?". I don't know what possessed me, maybe it was hovering at -100, but I pulled out my photo album and opened to my Thanksgiving pic last year. He looked at it, looked at me, said "no freaking way. this isn't you!" then he looked again and said "it's obviously working VERY well for you!". Two of the ladies at the counter also looked and all they said was "wow". God, I felt SO good last night!
So, as I sit here in happy tears designing my Century Club card, I had to share my excitement with not only my *real* family but the family I love here on the May boards. I love you guys soooooooooooooooo much and know I got to this milestone with your help!

Cyndi - That's great! Hopen you made it to the century club today, I think I'm in denial about being so close as well. Never in my life did I ever dream that losing 100 lbs was in the cards for me. Amazing how my outlook on life has changed!
Rebecca - I've felt the jealousy thing from my friends for a couple of months now. I have talked to my support group about it and it seems very common. I think the thing I've noticed the most is just the fact that I feel like certain friends are competing with me in a way. I was always the "fat one in the group" and when I hung out with those friends, they're the ones who always got the attention...now that I've lost almost 100lbs, the whole chemistry of my group of friends had shifted, you know? I feel better about myself, so I'm getting myself out there a lot more...and I can tell my friends are struggling with that a bit. And way to go you for going back to school! That's fantastic Rebecca!
My life is really chaotic at the moment, I'm liking it though, I have motivation now, which I can't say I did 7 months ago. I have been dating A LOT lately and as a 20 year old...that has never happened! I've also started a new job and it's nice to be able to stand up for myself and introduce myself in a different kind of way. This surgery has done so many things I couldn't even list them all.
I feel like I've written a novel, so I'm going to shut up...but life is GOOD!

Welcome back to the May board! Funny you mentioned about a new license. I had to show my license to get a new library card last week. The librarian looked at me, the license, me, the license and back again. LOL I think it might be time for me to get a new one too since I can't imagine my face getting any smaller. lol
How sad that your family isn't supportive! Is it maybe because they just don't know what to say? My mom doesn't say much and I asked her why. She told me she's shocked and doesn't want to hurt my feelings. I guess people didn't realize how HUGE I was before. Now that I'm in a 12 from 26, they don't want to mention it. lol It's weird but that's what a friend told me today. They don't want to act shocked even though they are. It's kind of a "happy" shock I guess.
