I have finally updated my pics with pictures from the other night as well as a new stitched picture. And I updated my measurements. Wow I can't believe how many inches I have lost!!!! Oh, and my surgery has been able to be postponed a little. I will not be having surgery until Dec 27th! So I get to attend to my responsibilities and enjoy the Holidays, then I will be able to get some much needed rest Donna

Yes Chantal this has been the most incredible journey. I am so excited about where it is taking me! You look fantastic yourself....I can't wait till I get to onderland, that is still a ways off, but would love to be there before my actual birthday next May 15, and if not then by my surgery birthday May 30. Gayle you look fantastic girl! What a difference, it's amazing isn't it? By the way I was reading your latest blog post and I think it's fantastic that you've picked a goal weight that you feel comfortable with. When I first met my surgeon, he said that someone my height should to weigh something like 145 lbs and I told him right away that if I could maintain anywhere betweek 160-170, I would be the happiest person alive! So right on you for that You are getting CLOSE my dear!

for the life of me i don't know why everyone beats themselves up because you ate something youre "NOT" supposed to.....i mean damn! i do it all the time and still mangaged to lose 90lbs...the way i figure it..at least for me is if you deprive yourself too much youre going to fail....just slurp down the water and protein and you'll be fine....i do circuit training 5-6 days a week for 45 minutes and personally i think a woman loses inches that way faster than conventional exercise...just my opinion though...so don't fret and keep up the good work guys! day of surgery 280lbs as of yesterday 189lbs 39lbs til i hit my goal! woo hoo!

I can soooo relate!!! And it is with my 9 year old. I do not want her to head down the path I did. And I never want this surgery for her!!!!! I have found a program that is being started here (the perk of the health fairs I have been speaking at lately) that I am checking into for her! Donna

John, I was sooooo happy to be lighter than my husband again. But it was this weekend when I got all the oooohs and aaaaaahs that he finally said HE needs to do something!!! Though without much effort he has lost quite a bit since my surgery. I think it is due to eating at home most of the time now since it is hardly cost effective for me to go out and eat. I do not care how much he weighs of course.....jsut wnat him to be healthy and able to keep up with the new me!!!! Donna
