Paula,
Good to hear that things are going well for you. 130 pounds away is very good and I'll bet you just feel so much better. The May 07 group seems to have left the room compared to where we used to be. It is amazing that as we all get our new lives, it seems like we start to find a different place for the OH tool. I know that it was one of my questions that I never understood when I began researching my own surgery. "Why did people do such a good job of documenting the process for the first year and then they seemed to disappear. I think that I undertand it a bit better now. I'm much more on the busy side and just don't spend the time I did back in the old days. I made the first year of my post surgery my job to drop the weight. Now, it seems almost wild that I'm here and I just need to maintain. I have to admit that I really have to focus on the "maintain" part more than I thought I would. I posted over on the graduates board many months ago and asked which was harder to lose the weight or to keep it off. The response was very clear that maintaining it was a lot harder. I now tend to agree.
Keeping it off is our focus and I still use my food diary to stay in the right range for the first two meals of the day and then just try to take it easy for the rest of the day. It is not easy to stay away from the carbs at times. I guess we can just do the best that we can. This new life is pretty amazing though.

Regain of 20 pounds has thrown me for a loop - will not let this get the best of me - what am I doing about it?

Congratulations Paula! You're doing fantastic! I haven't been on OH myself much. I went from 265.8 to my bouncing section of 138-141. I'm a size 4 which boggles my mind. I've gotten out of my exercise routine and got lazy about my shakes. I guess I just got bored with my new life. Depression ha**** me pretty hard (harder than ever) so I just kinda stay away from the happy world of OH. One of these days I'll be back to my old self. But, we all know life gets busier and mine is no different. All I need is about 24 more hours in each day to get it all done. :)
Congrats on your hard work!!!
