Happy One Year Surgiversary!!!

Well, kids, we made it! One year ago today our little family was starting our new lives! I don't know about all of you, but this year has flown! I won't celebrate until the 25th but this is going to be the longest rebirth and birthday celebration I've ever had! And, this year, I'm having birthday cake on May 29th! LOL I haven't been on too much lately. Honestly, I've felt like SH*T and was at the ER for a wasted 6 hours last Friday. I'll bounce back but there's been a lot of drama in real life. And, on top of that, my beloved computer died. Thankfully I put all my important stuff on my Book external drive. But, I've been without email (goodness forbid he tell me my Verizon password) so that's been the worst. I'm on my new laptop that I hate so I'll be in and out. Happy One Year to you all!!! I know I wouldn't have been as successful without my May 2007 family. I love you all!!!!! * Cyndi *

Happy one year surgiversary to you too, Cyndi and to all of us Maysters! (I officially celebrate tomorrow!) Just think where we were a year ago this time - can you believe it? Whether we lost more than we expected, or more slowly, the important thing is that we made a significant change and comittment to living a better life for ourselves (first) and for our families. It hasn't been easy, even for those of us who had few complications, and the hard work, continued loss and/or maintenance of our new lifestyle is yet to come. But I know I wouldn't have been able to do it without the support I found here , so, I'm taking some time off from obsessing about those last few pounds I want to lose and taking time to celebrate!!!

CONGRATS EVERBODY ON A LIFE CHANGEING YEAR WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT THAT LIFE WOULD HAVE CHANGED SO MUCH IN SUCH A SHORT TIME!!!HOPE EVERYONE IS FEELING WELL, I MYSELF AM DOWN 145LBS REACHED MY GOAL WIEGHT AND HAVE UPDATED MY PICS , CHECK UM OUT! ONE LUV!

Let the party begin. It has been such a fantastic year and I too am thankful for all of the wonderful folks on this board. I went over to the May 2008 board to offer some encouragement. They are like a bunch of kids waiting to open their Christmas gifts....nervous as we were at the same time last year. We got in a year ahead of them and it is amazing what a different perspective we have after just one short year. Party on...Mayster of 08. John
