Less 120lbs and now have new aches and pains..any one else?
May 14,2007 and I am 124 lbs less. Lately I have been having aches and pains in my back and sholders. I think it could be the way I carry myself now. I noticed in the store mirror when I walk by that I seem a little hunched over. I went to a charapractor he said I have no muscle left in my neck and sholders. So now I am using some barbells to build more. I also notice when I sleep and turn over that I am more stiff and my bones "crack." I am curious if I am alone or if this is just one of the little set backs to the so many positives.
I've been experiencing the same thing - back and neck soreness. And I've notice it easier to strain my neck muscles. I also think I've been hunching over - and know I need to work out. It's just been so easy to lose these 165 lbs without doing anything. I envy those who got started early on a work out routine and have built up their muscles rather than letting them melt away...
I notice I tend to walk a little hunched over as well. No aches or pains from it but the posture is bad from all those years of carrying all the weight. I'm working on that.
What hurts is...how do I put this delicately...my tailbone. Apparently it never had to bear weight before and now that it does it is in full-scale rebellion. It's become a spoiled brat and complains at the slightest provocation. When I was on a 4 1/2 hour flight last week it threw an all-out tantrum.
I had this same problem with my feet and legs when I started walking a lot after the surgery and they came around eventually. I'm hoping the ol' tailbone gets with the program as well.

I had the sam ething and went to a chiropractor also. Some of the posture is due to the boob thing and hunching over. But I went to the gym and got some exercise for the shoulder blade are and it is better. For immediate relief, straighten your arms overhead and lean into a doorway. It stretches that whole area.
