9 Months Today!!!!!!

Hello everyone....... I am celebrating my 9 month Surgiversary today.....weighed this morning and no change since Sunday, but did my measurements....lost a total of 90 pounds, and 40 inches...... I have gone from a 26/28 to a solid 14, sometimes a 12, and sometimes a 16, depending on brand and style......that drives me insane!!!!! Next weekend I will be going to Indianapolis with my Mom, Sister, and Niece to shop for the new swimsuit to take on vacation with me......not sure what to look for style wise....need something to help camo my belly skin, but still make me look young.....I don't ask for much do I? I am off to do laundry, and work on things for the coming weekend.... I am all set for the Plateau Buster that starts on Sunday.....today is a good day and I feel like I am on cloud nine!!!!!! Wish I felt like this everyday.....I believe that the mental aspect of WLS is the hardest part to deal with by far!!!!!! Love to all.....Holly

Happy Surgiversary Holly!!!! Look at you! Look at the changes in you in such a tiny amount of time. Have a great time swimsuit shopping! I've been looking online. This is the first suit I've bought in like 15 years. lol I have to find something cute, but with a skirt because, well, the tush and the upper thighs are kinda icky. lol I'm debating the plateau buster. I've been soooooooooooooooooooo bad this week! I can't find my beloved tropicana orangeade anywhere! I haven't had one shake and I can tell. I feel so icky. I'm so proud of you! Next time you tell me you're not losing fast enough I'm going to *remind* you and have your skinny size 12/14/16 butt get in the old 26/28 pants. Then dare tell me you're not losing! Congrats to you Holly, It's hard to imagine that 9 months has gone by. I'm having a hard time convincing myself that I can do the stall buster. I know I'm just trying to talk myself out of it. I too have been looking at swim suits and it is so hard to know what to get. Have fun shopping. Hugs! Sue

Holly, congrats on the 9 months (and the bathing suit shopping) your pictures look great (and I guess I did nto see the ones you took for your dh!!!) Yes I can not wait fo the pateau buster either......I have to get back to the basics that got me going and get back to it again!!!! Donna

Man I wish I was down that low. I am sort of depressed. This is my nine month anniversary too and I have only lost 125 so far. I wanted to have lost a lot more. My weight loss has been hendered by arthritis, joint degeration and gout flare ups. Doing my best to ride my bike though. I just feel my weight loss is kinda slow. I get afraid that I won't make my goal weight and will be stuck at this weight now. Is it possible to stretch your stomach? My Dr. says no but I get scared I have done that. I am so proud of you for your weight loss and pray for everyone on this web site to be able to lose all they set for their goal. May God keep his loving hand on you and keep you happy in what you do.
