Ok, I am thinking of trying this and with all those that are talking about stalls....who is with me? We will start Sunday. Come on we can do this. Everyone I have seen try it so far has mangaed to get the scales moving again. Donna PLATEAU BUSTER DIET Do it for 10 days. Drink 2 quarts of water a day. You must have 45 grams protein supplement and a multivitamin every day. You may consume up to 3 oz. of the following foods 5 times a day: Beef Pork Chicken Lamb Fish Eggs Low-fat cheese Cottage cheese SF yogurt Peanut butter Beans/legumes You may also have: SF popsicles (avoid the juice kind) Tea or coffee SF soda (flat or course) SF Jello Broths & bouillons Crystal Light drinks If it is not on the list, you can't have it! Keep a food diary and get 30 minutes exercise a day.

Ok, great I am going ot go to GNC tomorrow to use my 20% off for the first 7 days of the month to get more protein to start this. I have got to get off the carbs I have been doing so badly. Donna

I am there Donna.....but one question? What about skim milk? I am very good about getting mine in everyday!! Going to print this out and hang it on my fridge!!!!! Love, Holly

This seems like a great plan, and wish tremendous success to those of you who are going to try it. But you know what - I looked and this and thought about it, but I'm not going to do it. When I committed to getting the RNY, I decided that I was going to change my lifestyle in the way I ate and exercised (that is, I was going to exercise). I have to live with this the rest of my life, and for me (and 'm speaking just for me) I want to do it as normally as possible, that is, no more part-time drastic changes in my eating plan. I think that, again, FOR ME, trying all sorts of restrictive eating plans and diets is one of the reasons I ended up the way I did - my body did not know if it was coming or going, absorbing or getting rid of. I can see a "back to basics approach" like John described in his recent post, but I'm afraid to try anything other than that. I also have a problem because I had a terrible time with the protein drinks when I was first recovering from surgery - I drank them, but it was tough. I am also at the stage where i am trying to not ingest as much artificial sweeteners (it's hard) and to eat more organic foods. I've just decides to go further with the results of this success than I have with anything else. Please, I'm not trying to sound "better" than anyone - this is still such a struggle for me, but it is one that, for the first time, i am happy to be engaged in concerning my physical well-being. Again, I wish you all who are trying this plan much success - PLEASE let us all know how you do - I am sure it will be helpful to many on this board! Cyndi
