Frustrated X Post
that I have only lost 4lbs since Christmas and that I seem to bounce up and down constantly between 181-182. What gives? I make healthy eating choices, I eat 1000 calories or less a day, my exercise is limited to the exercise bike in my apartment but I do that for atleast 45 min 5x a week. I have a job where I am on my feet all day moving around, lifting, etc so I am not just sitting at a desk. I have lost 112lbs since surgery 9 months ago so I know I shouldn't complain. I just want out of the 180s already!!! This happened to me also when I was at 206 for awhile but it didn't last for this long. I was thinking of going back to liquids for a few days to see if that will get things moving again, is that a bad idea? or Maybe that 5 day pouch test to try and break this stall...it has been almost 2 months.

Sorry you're having a big stall. I too can go a month without losing, but never 2 months. I know a lot of people do go back to the 1st stages of the diet to try and jump start things. Personally I have never tried it, but maybe you should. Please post again to let us know of your success. ~April

Kali,
Sometimes you have to shake things up in ways you would not expect. That includes eating more calories, or doing different exercises (get yourself a DVD of some aerobics or something like "Walk Away the Pounds"). Do you have a nutritionist you can consult? Maybe you could also talk to your surgeon or people in a local support group.
Best to you!
