I am Thankful for......

Ok, with it being Thanksgiving I thought we should take a moment to think about what we are all Thankful for with this amazing opportunity we have been given! I am Thankful to have had the opportunity to have this surgery, and for the amazing doors it has already opened for me. I love talking to others about the surgery, helping with their questions, and just helping them make and informed descision!! I am Thankful for all the changes in my life already from this surgery and it has just begun!!!! I am Thankful for all the things I can now share with my children that I could not do before!!! I am Thankful for all the Mayers!!! The support I get here is wonderful, and I could not make it without each and every one of you! I am Thankful that though my son was in the ER last night.....he responded to treatment and we made it home to cook dinner nad spend time with our family today! So, what are you Thankful for? I am Thankful for...the elders who at 91, 98 and 89 are still in my life! I am Thankful for a wonderful husband and daughter. I am Thankful for the best, most supportive and cool parents a girl could ever want! I am sooooooooooooooo Thankful for finding OH and finding a childhood friend who pointed me to Dr. Iqbal, one of the other loves of my life . I'm BEYOND Thankful for my May '07 family! When others aren't supportive, I know I can come here for what I need. I am Thankful for 102 lbs gone and feeling so great I'm running up and down the four floors of steps here at the hotel instead of taking the elevator! (And beating hubby almost every time LOL) I am Thankful for my best friend who freezes her A** off with me every morning to walk the 4.5 miles. I am Thankful for so darned many things this year. 2007 has been the BEST! Oh, and I'm Thankful for my Cracker Barrel at home because the food at the one here in North Carolina was ICKY!
