Introducing myself

Hello everyone. My name is Donya, and I had my surgery May 1. I am 6mo out, and down 92lbs so far starting at 258. My weight is at 166 right now. I have about 18 more pounds to go to reach my personal goal, I hope I can make it, Well I just wanted to say hi to everyone Donya

Hope you can make it? My goodness! You're doing wonderful. 92lbs gone in 6 months and almost at goal is amazing! You go, Woman!!

Hi Donya, Welcome to the may board, Sounds like your doing wonderful and being a total success! I'm Rebecca and I had surgery on the 9th. I started at 261 and am now 168 getting very close to my goal. I wear a size 10 and even bought a size 8 although I think its a big 8 I can't complain! Hi Donya! Where have you been the last 6 months? lol All kidding aside, we're one big (though rapidly shrinking!) family here on the May forum. We're so glad you're here! I'm Cyndi and I had my surgery on May 25th. I started at 265 and was at 167 this morning. I'm hoping to get rid of these 2 pounds before I see my surgeon on Thursday. I'd love to be down 100 pounds by then. Of course you'll reach your goal! You're so close now! I have 17 pounds to make my surgeon's goal and 22 to make my goal. I can't wait for that day! * Cyndi *

Welcome to the May Board Donya! I am Donna, and had Surgery on May 29th! I was 318lbs on Surgery Day and was 237lbs Sunday. So 81lbs.....89 in all.....i'll take it!!! I was hoping to be closer to 100lbs gone by my 6 month visit but since that is next week....does nto look like that will happen. I am happy with the progress that I have made and the slower progress seems to be helping in the skin dept! So I am not complaining.....I am currently smaller than I have been in almost 10 years......so I am happy with that!!! So jump right in! We have a great group of Mayers here!!! Donna

Hi Donya, Welcome to the greatest board ever. Everyone here are like family. You are doing so great. My susrgery was May 7th and I am now at 186 which is heaven for me. I was so thrilled because I got my Prom Dress on yesterday and it was too big. I am amazed how wonderful this surgery is. Hope to see more of you on this board. Hugs, Esther

Hi Donna, Sounds like you are doing great. If you ever got any questions just ask. Someone on this May board will be happy to help you. I had my surgery May 22 My starting weight was 297 I weigh 207 this week I didnt have a great week. I wanted to loose 107 before my 6 months but its not going to happen, but I am happy with the size 16 I am wearing and the L size shirt. I could have never done it without everyones support and friendly little notes, etc. Take care, BJ

Hi Donya: My name is Amy and I am new to the boards too. I just happen to find the websitge accidently but I am loving it so far. I just wanted to congradulate you on your success right now. Me I started at 319 had surgery on the 18th of May and at 216 this morning. My goal is about another 66-70 pounds to go.I am sure you will succeed with your goal. Good luck Amy
