Do I tell??
Hi
I've been kind of MIA on the board lately- but I have a grrrrrrrreat reason!
I met a new guy
It's still super early, but he's very nice and I'm in like with him so far. So we'll see what happens with all that.
I feel like I should tell him that I had surgery. I mean it's a huge part of my life. BUT at the same time, I feel like it really shouldn't matter to him. I guess I just have to find the right time.
Any advice??
Keep your fingers crossed for me- this one seems like a keeper!
Kathy

Oh wow Kathy! Very cool and nice reason to be away from the boards!!!! I think the time will come to "share" your experiences. Especially since if you are dating/going out to dinner. He might start to worry about your small portions LOL! He might think he REALLY makes you nervous!!!
Seriously though, I am VERY happy for you!!! How exciting!!!

Kathy,
That is so exciting. I'm an old married fart, boring I know lol but I do remember back to how exciting it was meeting someone new. You will tell him about the surgery when it comes up. I don't think I could be able to keep it to myself for long as I have a big mouth. I tell strangers I had it so LOL. I know you said its early so just have fun and go with how your feeling on the matter!
Hugs,
Rebecca
I would wait until the time was right, you'll know it. I asked this in the RNY forum last month because I too had met someone and wasn't sure how to bring it up. It ended up not working out so I'm glad I didn't bring it up until things were more official.
I'm so happy for you Kathy...you deserve an amazing man who sweeps you off your feet. Keep us posted
