Do you believe this?!!

I had to have some routine blood work done. Why my ob/gyn wanted to do a check on my thyroid is beyond me. Anyway.........my Dr. is telling me I may have a problem. It is not functioning normally. It may be too slow. Go figure! I always had this fear it wasn't working normally before the surgery, that is why I was so fat......lol. So now that I have had surgery it is going to act up??? I am doing great losing weight (in my opinion and my WLS). I have to go back in two months for a re-check. They did say it could be acting up from the surgery. I am hoping it corrects itself. Anyone have a problem like this after surgery? Any advice???? Thanks, Betsy

Awww Betsy, that sucks! It never fails does it. I had my thyroid checked a few weeks ago and all was fine. You are absolutely doing great with your losses. Shoot, your picture shows it! Hopefully everything will work out and you won't need surgery. Keep us updated! * Cyndi *

Hi Betsy- I had an underactive thyroid pre-surgery, but since then mine has been all out of whack. They have had to change my medication dosage 3 times since then. But I think when I'm on the right dose, it really does make me feel better. If I don't take it I get really cold and tired- kind of sluggish. Glad they found it and now can correct it!
