This week will be a better week!
That is right after my 1 lb gain last week I figured I needed to do something....so yes I really needed to get as much done as I could at home but I decided I have gone this far and I needed to do what is best for me. So it is one of my favorite type of days. We finally got a little cool front and it is 58 and wind gust at about 25mph so I grabbed a water bottle and went for a nice brisk walk before time to get the kids.
Feels great!!! My plan is to get in at least 3 more excercise days this week. We are going camping with the cub scouts (should be much less miserable for me than the last two campouts whoo hooo!) this weekend so i am sure I can get a walk in hopefully each day as well as on Tuesday and Thursday my goal is to go to the gym.
I am tempted to take my scale on this campout so I can weigh Sunday morning but I may have to wait until Monday to weigh in LOL

Well my walk might have been for nothing LOL! Went to an Employee Recognition Dinner.....actually it was my first real test since surgery and I think I did very well. And the Bariatric Coordinator for the hospital was across the room......hmmm think I fel****ched. LOL just kidding she could not see me. I did very good with the temptations. It was a sit down several course meal......and that included wine. I did have one sip...ok ok I will be honest two. But that was just to toast with my two bosses that were there. My mom got worried becuase they filled my glass (only had them put a small amount in the first time) but I just let it sit there.....I was good. there was a salad that I had a few bites of. Just had to try it ...t was such a fancy salad LOL. It was sitting so nice on the plate. The salad leaves were all wrapped up pretty with a slice of cucumber tied together. Anyway I had a few bites. There the dinner came out. It was chicken picata. But thankfully the sauce was around it and not on it. So I was able to pull off the breading and eat a couple bites of chicken. But then......they brought out dessert. Oh my......it was a chocolate pyramid that had some type of chocolate mousse inside. I had one bite. My mom and coworkers all finished there's LOL! Then coconut macroons and coffee. That I did not touch. Oh but I did have a few pieces of cheese at the dinner dinner the pre reception. I left there very satisfied that it was a normal function, I went had a good time, and was not stuffed or in anyway sick or as miserable as most that left LOL! And I did not miss it. Noone seemed to notice and it was a great evening! I saw the Bariatric Coordinator at the end and told her she could let my surgeon know that I passed my first real social test LOL! So she asked if I did ok.....told her that my main temptation that was hard was the wine.....not the pyramid LOL! this no drinking for a year thing....LOL not that I was a drinker but socially I enjoyed a drink or two. But it was a great evening. And a nice trial before a few holiday parties we have coming up.

Holy Crap-o-la!
I am totally on board with you on that one Donna!
It's strange- the weeks that I feel like I'm totally off the wagon, the scale is so good to me. The weeks that I really behave and exercise and watch what I eat- I stall out.
I can't figure it out and it's making me nuts!!
Just keep on truckin, though! It will go down eventually!
Have fun camping!
