Tooting my own horn...lol
Somewhat of a WOW moment for me...
Today I woke up super early---only got about 5 hours of sleep. So I was laying bed around 7:30 watching Discovery Health when I decided tha****ching t.v. was probably NOT the best way to start my day of on a good (and healthy) note. SO...I decided to put my walking shoes on and WALK to Curves to work out. I walked the mile there...worked out...and turned around and walked right back home! The best part is...I did it because I wanted to---not because anyone was pushing me or telling me to. I did it for ME.
I was thinking...............5 months ago--it was all I could do to do 1/3 of a workout at Curves. Now I can do a full workout and walk 2 miles with NO problem. I didn't even feel tired! I came home...showered--went and had some pictures taken...and then went to tan. I was so proud of myself! =) Just wanted to share!
Unfortunately, I'm not up to sprinting on the track like Miss Rebecca---but someday I will! I WANT to run! LOL..........p.s.--way to go Rebecca! You're inspiring me! ;)

I used to go to the YMCA super early and get there just when they opened. It never failed to crack me up to see all these people jockeying their cars around the lot trying to get a close parking spot - and then go inside and get on a treadmill. I used to park out at the back of the lot but you got me beat by a mile, girl! And walking in is a great way to warm up. You will be running around the track with Rebecca before you know it.
