Your dieing to know rigth? LOL
I know you all are just dieing to know how my run went yesterday LOL. Well we got to the track and I was totally overwhelmed. We started stretching and I just couldn't believe I asked for this LOL. We walked a lap and then we started doing sprints where we would run as fast as we could for a 1 leg of the track then walk for 2. I guess that is supposed to be a really good workout and help build up my endurance. I now
understand that being thin doesn't equal being physically active or healthy. I was very proud of myself. I did it, the first step in the right direction. I thought I'll never do this again when we were walking off the track but I didn't mean it because I had a very proud glow about me for the rest of the night. I was full of energy. I loved it! Sign me up lol.
Thanks for all your kind words!
Hugs,
Rebecca
That's great Rebecca! Just please remember to go slowly, pushing too hard will only get you hurt or discouraged. I'm training with the Couch-to-5k plan and it's going really well so far...it puts you on a good schedule and prevents you from progressing too fast which is the mistake I've made many times in the past.
You can download the podcast for this program, it has music and this guy who tells you when to run/walk and reminds you to breathe and stuff. Very cool!
