12:43 Awake and cannot sleep......

Hello all.....cannot sleep for some reason so thought I would chat a little. I am feeling like eating the wallpaper off the walls tonight...good thing I stripped it and painted about a month ago!!!!!! I made shrimp stirfry for supper tonight and after eating decided it was time to get my walk in....or at least try to. It had been sprinkling on and off all evening. Out I head with my ipod and a bottle of water. It was steadily sprinkling but I was determined to get my walk done. I live in a very small country town and so the streets are not lit....I knew I would not get the 4.2 miles in that I normally do. On the last lap I had planned on walking, because of it getting dark.....the wind had picked up, saw lightning and heard thunder, and then the rain picked up. I walk around the town in a rectangle......I was to my back straight away and it started to really rain.....so I thought .......get your fanny home!!!! I started jogging....and jogged the back straight away and right into my front door!!!!! I felt so proud of myself !! Cyndi I have to tell you I felt like you were right there beside me inspiring me to make it home!!!! I was still breathing...and managed to get 3 miles in!!!!! I always weigh in on Thursday mornings so I will be anxious to see what the scale says this week.......I sooooo want to see the 180's!!!!! Okies....I am gonna try to get back to sleep....!!!!! I will post on Thursday and hopefully I am happy with what the mystical scale has to say!!!!! Hugs and kisses, and sweet dreams!!!!!

Woohoo Holly!!! I'm so proud of you!!! And you jogged too!!! Now go buy yourself a hoodie and that rain won't bug you at all. lol You're gonna hit the 180s. I'll be here cheering you on. I don't know about anyone else but the days I don't walk everything seems to go wrong. I'm forgetful, frazzled and just so messed up the kitten doesn't even want to be around me. Days I *do* exercise are great. Even if you have a crappy day, do an exercise tape. I do the Leslie Sansone walks that are on Comcast On Demand or I grab one of my old trusty Richard Simmons tapes. Keep up the great work!!!! You'll see the 180s in no time!!!! * Cyndi *
