Well, it happened finally! I got on the scale and it was 190.6! 191 put my BMI at 29.9 and Overweight. I was so happy I ran and grabbed the digital camera. lol I've done ONLY protein this week, walked my 3.5 miles every morning, gotten in 4 Fuzzy Navel & SF Orangeade shakes every day and filled in the rest with about 48 oz/3 bottles of water. Okay, okay. I'm still having my SF Fudgsicles to watch General Hospital at night. LOL I'm finally losing again. I see my surgeon tomorrow. I hope I see a 189.? on there tomorrow. Have a wonderful day Mayers! Love you all!!! * Cyndi *

Thank you so much Esther. I'm so happy lately. I've lost almost 4 pounds since Sunday. I am so happy with things. Sure, stalls totally suck, but, man, everything about this RNY has been amazing!!! My mom, aunt, Britt and I are going to NYC Saturday to see "Phantom of the Opera". I'm so excited to sit in the theatre seat and it not be a tight fit! It takes so little to make us happy, doesn't it. lol Hugs and smooches to you too!!! * Cyndi *

It's good to hear that you are so happy. You deserve to be happy. When the weight stays at a standstill, it does suck. I hate it. NYC for Phantom of the Opera is sooooooooooooo cool. Have a great time. Show off that beautiful figure with something tight. Wish I were going with you. Hugs, Esther

LOL Something tight huh. Maybe the shorts I'm wearing now? I'm too cheap to buy clothes at every change. These shorts have to be 20 years old and still had tags on. Okay, they're a little tight but, ya know what? I can fit in them! LOL I sure couldn't put them on 75 pounds ago. * Cyndi *

Cyndi, congratulations on being overweight! It's hard to believe that we congratulate each other for things that others would see as a slam. I have to tell you I saw Phantom in Toronto many years ago and I absolutely lov---------ed it. Have a great time. Sue

WLSers are a crazy group. I called my mom while I was on my 3.5 mile walk. She was so happy for me. Brittany is 10 and she LOVES going to NYC to see shows. She's been begging to see Phantom. She's really excited about it. My mom is getting Britt and I tickets to see Wicked for Christmas. I'm reading the book, and Britt's addicted to the soundtrack so I know we'll have fun at that one. I'll post after my surgeon's appointment tomorrow. I have my fingers crossed that he's happy. LOL * Cyndi *

Congrat Cyndi, What do you mean when you said you do ONLY protein?

I got a little too anxious to try different foods. I kind of strayed and was eating the mini cheeseburgers at Applebee's and the kiddie chicken tenders. So, I went back to "good" protein (chicken, turkey, cheese, etc.) and that's all I eat at my meal. Now I get the grilled chicken sandwich at Applebee's minus the bun. We have TONS of business lunches so we're at Applebee's at LEAST 5 times a week. lol When I cook dinner it's a good protein and I don't do the sides like macaroni, corn, etc. My family is soooooooooooooooooo picky and difficult. Tonight we're having lasagna. I have to find something to eat. lol Once I went back to only protein at a meal, the weight started to drop again. * Cyndi *

Thanks for the info, I will try that to see if it kick starts mine. I was just like you, a little anxious. But I have a bigger problem, my husband, he had his surgery a couple years ago and when I tell him I am not supposed to be eating a certain food he says oh you can, just chew it more, or take smaller bites. So I have to get him out of my head and start doing what I know is right. Another problem I have is I am very picky, I don't like to try new foods, when I find something I like I stick to it, which is getting somewhat hard. But thanks, and again congrats. Cynthia
