OMG! My last post I was complaining about needing to buy smaller sized clothes, not having the funds for "temporary" clothes, & hating to shop. Well, my hottie man husband was going thru some boxes upstairs & found one with old jeans in it. They were mine from 10 yrs. ago. Since I've been in serious denial about looking any smaller, I thought "I'll try 'em on, but doubt they'll fit." Man! 5 pair size 18's (was size 22 pre-op), non-stretch type...real jeans and they all fit! One was a little tight around the waist & calves, but they all fit!! That's @ least $80.00 worth of jeans. I am so tickled. One, I don't have to spend money on new ones and two, they're a size 18. Woweeeeee...

Congrats! I hated cleaning out my basement UNTIL I found a tub full of clothes! lol Isn't it great getting into REAL jeans. I've always hated the stretch ones. I have a pair of hot pink "real" jeans in size 16 that I'm probably about 5 pounds from fitting in. LOL I refuse to buy a bunch of clothes. I just found a bunch of size 12 shirts and a few size 14 and 16 denim skirts. Isn't it funny how cool these horrible chores can really be? lol * Cyndi *

I never really minded the stretch jeans 'cause it was better than the other option...elastic waistband, fake denim...LOL That said, I am lovin' being back in the real thing. Thanks for the praise, Cyndi!!

you go girlfriend! i myself hate "real" jeans....hated them even when i was thin....i always had trouble finding jeans that looked good because my waist was always high and there's was always a 13" differential between my hips and waist...i myself love leggins...theyre stylish and comfy and slimming i think...

Congratulations April..... My friend went yard sale shopping and bought a pair of jeans, size 16..... I got them up over my hips and almost snapped shut. I can't sit down or move but who cares, I got them on which is a shocker for me. I am just excited that I am a comfortable size 18 now. I used to wear a 22-24 and so this is a WOW for me. I am happy for you that you now have something to wear. Keep up the great work. Hugs, Esther
