Hi Tiffany! Welcome to the forum. You had your surgery the day before me. Congrats on the wonderful loss! I haven't had my bloodwork done yet (I know, bad me!) but I agree with the SF popsicle. I always have one ready for my yucky meds. Where in DE? I'm over the Del Mem Br in Pennsville, NJ. I'm in Wilmington, oh, maybe 3 times a week. I refuse to pay sales tax for anything. * Cyndi *

Welcome Tiffany, wow, that is an awesome weight loss so far. I bet you are feeling wonderful. I don't know what to say about the iron pills. You might try putting them in a bite of applesauce, sf jello or pudding. Good to see you on the May board. Sue

Hi Tiffany, My Dr had me on Repliva and they made me sick and constipated. I started taking another Iron supplement. At our last support group meeting we were all told to stop taking the Repliva, because it didn't have the instinsic factor that our bodies needed. My Dr switched me to Foltrin. You may want to talk to your Dr about this and have him switch you off the Repliva.

Welcome to the best board ever....the Mayers! I am taking regular size pills now and they don't make me sick so far. I go for blood work tomorrow so I will see what my iron count is and who know, they may put me on repliva. Congratulations on your weight loss. Hugs, Esther

Tiffany, First of all welcome!!! Glad you found us! And as to the pill I have been taking more and more of them lately. The bigger ones I have been breaking into two or even three pieces and swalling like 15 minutes apart or so and they seem to be doing ok. Though I still prefer liquid or chewable when I can. And I have found with pain meds the liquid seems to work better. As for Repliva ....have not had to take it. My iron I take twice a day is a chewable. But I will say that some of my pills I have crushed and would put in a little sugar free pudding and swallow that. It hides the nasty taste and slides down. So you could do that.....just cut the pill and wrap each piece in the pudding to hide the taste. That is what I did with one of my recent antibiotics. I have not had my iron checked though and wilnot have all those levels checked until 6 months out. Godo luck! Donna
