antidepressants

ok kids...another question....before surgery i was on effexor and it was working fine for me....but after surgery i had to switch to cylexa so it'd be small enough to swallow...i don't care for cylexa though...it completely kills my libido! does anyone know when i can start taking effexor again?

I guess you could ask to switch whenever you're ready if the size of the pill was the only issue. I was on celexa a couple of years ago and I was warned of some weird side effects...my doctor increased my dose very slowly until we were both seeing improvements. I had no problems though other than that.

Hi, I have been on cymbalta for over three yrs and it works well with me. I dont have any side effects like the other meds gave me. During my WLS surgery and now, I still take it and its great! I use to take cylexa and it did the same to me. Also another side effect is weight gain. Hope things go well for you... Best wishes tina
