Discouraged...Weight Loss stopped
Hang in there. The rapid weight loss stage is definitely over for us. I also got discouraged but what you should do is stop looking at the scales. I noticed that I was not loosing any weight but my clothe sizes were changing.
There are still some fabulous things going on in your body. Stop looking at the scales to make you feel good. The answer is in the mirror !

Please add me to the stuck list as well. My first stall was at about 1 1/2 months for about a week, then everything was fine. I had a stall that started about 2 weeks ago JUST BEFORE I was about to go below 200 lbs.....
Somehow it got moving again and I made it past that hurdle (WHEW!) but now I appear to be "stuck" again. I've recently upped my calories (my NUT said I was eating too few) and am adjusting to a new exercise routine. Also seems like it's harder to tolerate water right now for some reason. My other big problem is my fat calories - they're hovering around 40% of total calories daily - I eat a lot of cheese and dairy. THAT I know I have to fix NOW!
But it will work itself out - I am not as freaked out as I was with the first stall, just disappointed, I guess.

Hi Cyndi,
Knowing that there is hope that I will someday go below 200 helps me so much. I hate this stalling though but at least I know I am not alone. I was just hoping that I would go under 200 before the scale stopped moving. I know that I need to increase my exercise and drink more water so I will keep everyone posted on my progress.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience with me. It does help so much.
Hugs,
Esther
Shoot, I am stuck half of the time, go up a lb or two sometimes before it goes south again. But, I know, no matter how slow I go, I am still gonna get there............... Just gotta believe you are gonna fly, sweetheart.............. wings are older, maybe slower, but we are gonna soar in our own time!!
Maybe, just maybe................. you need a good peptalk with your best friend??? Sure would love to hear you beautiful voice, Darlin"......!!!!! You can call me whenever the mood strikes U...............!! Love you, as always!! Your sis!! Karen
You sound like you're doing soooo good, don't be so discouraged! You see it's happening for me too! I've done it two times now. I'm still stuck this time. I've had my 2nd band fill 3 weeks ago and lost 4 lbs in one week. Now I keep checking and it was stuck and then 2 lbs came back, and off and now stuck. I had to begin my food journal writing to investigate what might be the cause. As some of you noted, I too have not been keeping up with drinking the required water. I've decreased my protien intake as well, and seems I have been eating more calories than I thought!!! OMG! Embarrassed about my losing some control, I am trying to 'get back on the horse again'. It feels cruel, since I've had the 2nd fill it's been very difficult to eat. Even when I chew chew chew, it hurts like it's setting ontop of things!
You all look so good in your pictures!!!
Sweetheart,
You are one GORGEOUS girl!! Just keep that chin up and keep your desire to move forward, and nothing's gonna stop you!! I got a buddt in KC, MO that has really had to learn a whole new life in adjusting to that band............... Since U are on a 2nd one, now, you have some idea of the adjustments it takes. Just know that there is always someone here to post to who will pump you up and keep you motivated. We are all in this fight, together!!
Blessings! Karen
